Selover Public Library
Since 1926, Selover Library has represented the belief that the best service is a reflection of its customers’ wishes. The library is an important part of the past, an integral part of the present, and an essential part of our communities’ future.
As a school district library our service area is the Highland School District, which includes Chesterville, Marengo, Sparta, and the unincorporated areas within the Highland School District. Selover Library is funded through a portion of the Public Library Fund (PLF) which is derived from the 1.68% of the state’s general revenue fund. No local tax dollars are collected to support Selover Library Services.
All Ohio residents are welcome to apply for a library card, receive services, and participate in library programming and events.
Particular emphasis is placed on delivering quality services, providing popular materials, and programing of high interest to library patrons.
Our purpose as a library is to inspire reading, share resources, and connect people. Through innovation and imagination we provide an environment where people of all backgrounds and ages may dream their dreams, exercise their imaginations, feed their intellects, and nurture success.
We invite you to visit Selover. We offer an incredibly large amount of value, to enhance your everyday life; for free!
